The Stationmaster's House at Ribblehead

The Trust’s immediate plans focus on the development of the Ribblehead Stationmaster’s House and the site at Ribblehead in general.
These include restoring the house to its original layout and providing improved accommodation for the caretakers.
In turn this would allow an improved and expanded Visitor Centre to be developed in the existing Station Building.

Also, negotiations are currently underway with Network Rail to obtain a lease on the former goods yard which would allow further expansion and improvements to take place.
For the longer term the Trust is currently developing a programme, to be published later in 2010, to identify possible future projects covering the whole of the Line and assess their feasibility.
